Little does anyone know that Paradise Valley is home to one of the fastest-growing travel companies in America! Recently relocating to the Paradise Valley area of Arizona, and what is now Cruise Planners, Capt’n Mike’s was started back in 2011, as an independent travel company, but quickly grew to having affiliates in Texas and New Mexico.

On Thursday, May 22, 2012 They were excited to announce the Grand Opening of the first brick & mortar location.

Now a Four Time "Best of Travel" winner CAPT'N MIKE teamed up with Cruise Planners, an American Express Travel Representative, together to provide a tremendous reputation for quality, service, and very competitive pricing for ALL travel needs.

So whether it’s a Caribbean cruise, a tropical resort, exciting Las Vegas or a magical Disney World or Universal Resort, your dream locale is closer than you may think.Cruise Planners and Capt’n Mike are not one of those many “at-home” here today, gone tomorrow cruise sellers, but rather a full-service travel management company, providing an array of travel-related services: booking leisure/vacation travel, all-inclusive’s, cruise, resort and theme park packages, but also serving as a full–service cruise entertainment event management company.

But you may be wondering why you as an individual need help booking a vacation in the Internet age with websites like Expedia at your fingertips. Unlike a website, when things don’t go according to plan (which is more often than most realize as proven in recent history), circumstances can go bad fast, and if you didn’t read and understand all the fine print, you could lose thousands of dollars. It’s times like these an experienced travel agent has your back.

“With the Internet, it’s extremely easy for almost anyone to search for travel, but when an issue like the Carnival Triumph occurs (which was stranded at sea for five days without working toilets), who are you going to call for help?” Michael, asks.

“It took Carnival over a month to get through all of the calls they were receiving due to the issues that resulted. Each time passengers called Carnival or one of the Internet sales companies for help, a different representative answered every time, and frustrated customers would be stuck having to tell their story over and over, hoping it got heard and resolved. And now, look at what covid has caused.”

“Because you work with only one dedicated travel professional, and they have the same access to the very same systems as the cruise lines/airlines and hotels and resorts, what took Carnival and Internet-booked passengers weeks to clear up, only took your travel professionals minutes to fix for their customers.”

And best of all: “We strive to provide the lowest cruise and resort rates and providing personal one on one, outstanding customer service ,” Mike says.

“In many cases, vacation deposits start at $0,” Mike says. “And you can pay the vacation off in many convenient ways. Right now, we are booking all of our vacation’s into 2024 and our highly sought after entertainment cruises until 2023.”

Mike’s travel tip: Make sure you are checking your passports, to assure they are up to date. It now takes on average of three months to have one renewed and it must be valid for six months BEYOND your expected return date. Most countries will not allow you entry without it” he says.

With over 25 years years of experience in the hospitality industry operating Las Vegas hotels & Casino's, Mike’s advisement and expertise could save you in the end.

One client/guest says, “Capt’n Mike did an outstanding job assisting us in the planning and booking of our cruise. We were lucky to have picked him for our agent because little did we know we were going to experience unpreventable circumstances, and Mr. DeVilbiss was available at all hours to assist us.

And keep eye’s & ear’s open for special entertainment cruises, especially discounted events as well as the upcoming annual “So, This Is Retirement” Getaway. It’s a getaway of socializing, meeting new friend’s and just enjoying retirement the way it was suppose to be!

Speaking of retirement, don’t miss out if your are considering retiring outside of the U.S. We provide familiarization trips to popular retirement areas, so you can see, experience and have your questions answered, before making such a big decision.

Mike wanted to share his thoughts about the status of his industry and those that rely heavily upon it.

News that Canada will not permit cruise ships to port, the remainder of 2021. Another devastating blow, not only to the cruise lines & travel companies, but the lives of hundred's of thousands of Alaskan Native's!

Their livelihood relied on our industry bringing people to the area. that was their economy!

Here, business has started to return to normal. But for Alaska, two years of business being closed, the lives and families being affected.

This weeks news won't just cause loss of business, but most undoubtedly, loss of the will for life.

You can still enjoy the beautiful Glacier Cruises,

You can still take the inland excursions, and overnight's in Denali,

You can still travel to Alaska. Just not by cruise.
