Las Vegas and Children - The Debate Continues

One set of questions has always caused a hail storm from both sides over the years. The question in general, Kids; and more specifically bringing kids to Las Vegas.
Outside of the Las Vegas Strip, Las Vegas is a regular city. Schools, Malls, communities. So the city is not built around "Adult Only" entertainment and amusement anymore. Many hotels, especially the what is called "Local Favorites" include Stations Hotels & Casinos as well as The Orleans offer children's areas, where they also offer a watching service for up to 8 hours at a time.
Kids love them, to my amazement. And safety - a State Highway Patrol officer was dropping his daughter off, and I had to ask - do you feel safe using the service? He pointed out all the safety inclusions to the area, and said he would forever trust them with his kids... and he did! That was enough for me... If in Vegas, and you are taking kids - look for hotel/Casinos that offers Kids Quest. Kids go crazy enjoying it. Also, if they are in the early teens, many of the same properties offer bowling, movie theaters, ice rinks and more!
For the family - you can all head to the stratosphere, Lake Meade, the several museums - and most people do not know, but the Air Force Thunderbird's are based in Las Vegas! During non-show weeks, they fly out to the desert to train and if lucky, every Friday about lunch time they do a small air show over Nellis AFB... If you want to snow and water ski in the same day... only 30 minutes outside and straight up is Mt Charleston. Come winter its a snow ski resort area, and in the summer a great place to go if Vegas gets to hot. So from Mt Charleston to Lake Meade - if your a skier - it's a great place to put on your bucket list
So don't count Vegas out, just because you have kids. Vegas has plenty to do for all ages.
I will continue to expand on Vegas - but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask... It is a great city for all ages -
